A new life for the electric and electronic products
What happens today
In reciclyng plants
E-waste is shredded and mechanically separated. Only 8/10 elements are recovered properly. The other elements are lost forever.
In an AEE
There are 50/60 different chemical elements. Every year 60 million tons are produced in industrialized countries.
And sometimes
This waste is sent to illegal landfills
This system is unsustainable for our planet's well-being and for people because of its environmental impact.
Our project
We want to improve this system: shifting from a linear economy to a circular one. lineare ad uno circolare
Our solution is Ariadne: a web-platform created to introduce and improve sustainability in the market of electric and electronic products. Ariadne helps to manage e-waste.
Our platform tells us who, where, and how many materials are inside a product in order to increase the recycling rate of waste materials when a device reaches end-of-life.
Thanks to Ariadne we can recover critical raw materials for industry, so we can reduce the use of natural resources and environmental impact.
We believe that we can recover up to 20/25 different elements.
We can also help companies to improve their sustainability and favor better e-waste management
